My Dog And Me Poem by Phil Soar

My Dog And Me

Rating: 5.0

I sit among the garden flowers
I take it in for hours and hours
The lush green grass and shrubs and trees
The wind that blows a gentle breeze
I watch my old dog sleeping there
Her days now don't have so much flair
And though her age is plain to see
I always love her close to me

WOW! I sure enjoy reading poems about dogs and especially reading books about any type of dog. Thank you for sharing this beauty of a poem Phil.
