My Dream

I am just immersed in a pond
The depth of which scares me not
For towards its edge of life I could swim
And river is my solicitude
Its flows, its currents, its roller coaster
Oh how romantic it would be
And ocean is my dream
Unto which wonderful fathom
I would love to dive deep
And die peacefully

Oftentimes we dream of the unreachable. The deepest of the ocean is always a mystery that pulls us to conquer. A poem of great depth and thought provoking. Wonderfully written.
