My Faith, Hope And Trust In Jesus Christ Poem by Dr John Celes

I’m glad to have known Jesus Christ,
The Son of Father God;
My life belongs to Jesus first;
He’ll spare me from all rod.

With faith in heart, if I can walk,
In righteousness, His way;
He listens to my every talk,
Especially when I pray.

With hope as light, behind the cross,
If I follow His Word;
My earthly stay will find its cause,
As I will reach the Lord.

If I can trust Him with my heart,
And ask Him things I need;
He showers grace and does His part
Like a friend, who cares indeed.
