My First Born Poem by Connie Tallada

My First Born

I saw you first in black and white

The image of you while waving in the dark

Those tiny little hands and big round head

Your tiny feet and heart with magical beats

I am mesmerized by your unborn ecstasy

Falling in-love with you every single day

The moment I hear your first cry

I am filled with joy and feeling so high

I can't get my eyes off on your face

Staring at you every single second

I am overload with unexplainable happiness

That extreme excitement that never ends

I love it when your warm body touches mine

When you peacefully sleep in my arms

I want to cuddle you all the time

Lay beside you and watch you smile

To stay awake all night till dawn

Securing all your needs without minding my own

I want to see you take your first step

Hear your voice and teach you how to speak

Hold your hand when you could finally walk

Converse with you with your baby talks

And Watch you grow to be a little man soon

Because you are my precious, my first born
