If my love was an ocean
you would never see land
If my love was a star
it would be forever shining
If my love was a desert
you would only see sand
-----
but to you
my love is cheap
and easily replaced
forgotten in the dark
and lost in the wind
to you
there are better
there are others
now my love is bending
slowly starting to break
the scars are finally showing
and the smiles starting to fade
so now i turn my back to love
and i start to buid a wall
secretly hoping someone would
tear it down
