My Heart Poem by Sangnam Nam

My Heart

My heart is the lake
Do row the boat do come to me
I will shatter myself on the sides of your boat
Like the white jade holding your shadow white

My heart is a candle
Do please close the door
I will burn to the last drop of my body
Silently trembling on your silky wear

My heart is a wanderer
Do please blow your flute
I will spend the night alone
Under the moon light listening to it

My heart is a fallen leaf
Briefly on your garden let me stay
Now when the wind blows, I will
Leave you like the lone traveler
