My heart palpitates
And my head aches too
The sorrow proved too much to bear
Yet I had to bear it
Had to endure a liveless life.
My heart palpitates because there
Seems to be no remedy
Because there seems to be no end
To the miseries attacking my soul
Trying to wreck my mind.
My heart palpitates because I
Am unhappy
Unhappy because I am poor
Poor because I am destitute
Destitute because I am forsaken;
So my heart goes on
Palpitating
Without end, without respite.
