My Home Town Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

My Home Town

Trees and birds all whisper my name.
Everything seems to look the same.
So long gone, but my heart you claim,
In the eve's crimson sunset flame.

Time goes by us so swift and fleet,
From winter's snow to summer's heat!
Home ever calls back roaming feet;
Twinkling stars far above the street.
