My Hometown Today Poem by Dr Ronnie Bai

My Hometown Today

My Hometown Today

The sky with airplanes trembles,
And land with speed trains rumbles;
Lakes with belching boats reek,
And streets with jammed cars shriek.
High towers stretch their necks
For lowly sunshine's dim specks.
