My Knight Poem by Nick Levesque

My Knight

My mind wanders in the past,
For memories only seem to last,
Dark skies hang over me,
Pleading for someone to set me free.

Reminiscences haunting my very dreams,
Feeling as if they we're evil schemes,
Questioning my existence here,
As I wipe away my last tear.

Instantaneously feeling alone,
Feeling as though my heart we're made of stone,
My only cure is your presence,
For I only desire your existence.

Memories shall forever remain,
As I constantly feel unwilling pain,
For my knight stands by my side,
Making my memories fade with pride.

Only he can help me find,
The eternal light flowing through my mind,
That will make the dark skies disappear,
Also vanquishing my every fear.

For I thank my trustworthy knight,
Who stood there with every fight,
Knowing my love for him grows immensely everyday,
We shall forever remain together along the way.
