My Lamp



When darkness dared my light
And sadness became my plight
When storms brewed my brain
And fears my only gain
Your smiles lit up across my path
I gazed upon your face and I saw delight
You showered me with rays of love
And I no more grope in the dark
For your sweet smile is my lamp!
