My Life Poem by kanu aravind

My Life

Marooned on those lonely ships
With chores that never end
With days were the sun never sets
With nights those are over in a blink

The mighhty sea at its fury
The winds in tune with the sea
The lonely sole of mine
Thinking of the of past

With rewards as small as could be
The stores were always filled with goods
But for me the windows were good
As i could never think to get them

The voice of the loved ones
Are dear to all
But in this world nothing comes for free
Te voices were a dream as i was poor

The feeling of joy when home becons
Are all killed the thought of return comes
The sole companion were self and ship
The days were hard and lonely

So many things i let go
As now i know I have seen the worst
The path of life that I had
Taught me that I am lonely

The path I followed
Are not meant for all
So all the hard times
Are lessons that I learned

So never in my life
Should I regret
That life was cruel to me
As life itself is a big teacher for me

All the sorrows and joy
Are all the goods and bad you did
So I am happy
That I am what I am
