My Life Is A Poem Poem by Mary Ryan

My life is a poem composed by the Lord
With inspiration given in His Holy Word
A new line to the poem He adds each day
According to all I think do and say
The poem is read in Heaven above
And I must do all in faithfulness and love
So God won’t be ashamed of the words He must write
And I cause pain to those in my sight
Now night time has come so I take to my rest
Knowing in my heart that I’ve done my best
God lays down His pen and looks up to say
“Such a beautiful line I have written today.”
