My Little Poetry Boat Poem by Hamid Moghaddasi

My Little Poetry Boat

Rating: 5.0

Dedicated to Quin Overman
(WOLFSPIRIT)
my wonderful poet-friend
for his kind and ocean-like heart

With a few simple words wood
using slightly talents and skills
I've made and thrown
a small boat eagerly
into the vast ocean
the ocean of the English literature

Without any fear and worry
Me as a mystic lover
Without care about the cruel world
attacked the heart of the ocean
Free and self-determining

I was alone totally
at the heart of the wavy ocean
for the days and the nights
I went without fear
under the light of guidance
leading of the friends sun
with the glorious help of
The moon light of passion
I moved quite steadily
with my effort paddle
by looking at starry pol star
Polaris of great poets' poetry

I know how huge the ocean is
I know how small my boat is
But my passion is too much
for going ahead freely
I'll experience all the places
in this infinite and blue arena

My boat doesn't have sail
but with love only
I'll go toward the coast
I know I'll reach out
to the dreams shore

In this very vast ocean
my little boat is like a straw but
the boatman's heart is made of steel
So me and my boat will pass
from the small and massive waves

With a few stick of precious words
The little boat of my poetry
goes ahead daringly, merely
In the charming ocean of poetry
I'll experience Hemingway's story
Yea from the depths of this ocean
I'll catch the biggest golden fish surely
