My Little Star Poem by Kerrie Smith

My Little Star

My little angel, my shining star.
I will teach you to write and you will go far.
Your numbers will come, we'll practice more.
For you are my child who I adore.

I see you excited, want to go to school.
But you need to try harder that's the rule.
No laptop, no stampy until homeworks done.
Then you my girl can go out and have fun.

Your laugh is so funny, your cute little smile.
Naughty and nice but you are my girl.
Princess, a mermaid you tell me so.
I love watching my little star grow.
