My Lover



I live under his shadow,
His banner over me is love,
His comforts with great delight is sweet to my taste,
My lover is like a hart among lilies,
He's whom my heart desires and my soul loveth,
My spouse, my honeycomb,
With him the light of my world shines up,
He's the epistle written in mine heart
It's known and read by all.
