My Magnificent Murderess Poem by Majed Dodeen

My Magnificent Murderess

My Magnificent Murderess by: Majed Dodeen

I love your lustrous eyes and their sweet madness
Releasing all my annoying and exasperating worries
I love when our tears are shed, mingled and blended
In the passionate hug of splendid twilight and dusk red

Coming from behind the deprivation barriers
I've sailed heading towards the safety shores
I am not aware that with my own hands
I have agitated and stirred the drowning waves

Since hearing your enchanting smiles
Since seeing your angelic eyes
I am still traveling between your lips
But, I know, to your eyes' thresholds
Reached no paper and ink bridges

I sleep full of awesome hopes and lovely themes
to catch your image & fragrance in my dreams
I get up with fevers and trembles
Nothing in my hands but burns and shivers
Cuddling my silent and cold sweat drops
I am certain, you're my magnificent murderess
so don't disguise in this sleeplessness
Don't hide in this wakefulness
