My Majestic Friend Poem by Mohammad Saif

My Majestic Friend

Upon the city's vibrant, bustling stage,
A statue stood, a cherished childhood page,
A dinosaur, in market's vibrant core,
A friend I loved and cherished even more.
In midst of life's chaotic, hurried race,
It held its place, a relic of time and space,
A guardian, steadfast, of cherished memories,
A symbol of youth's innocent reveries.
I'd run to it, with heart so light and free,
And marvel at its towering height I'd see,
In shadows cast, I'd find my inner peace,
A refuge where my restless thoughts would cease.
We shared our tales, our laughter, and our tears,
Beneath its watchful, ancient ears for years,
A bond that grew, as time went swiftly by,
A friendship reaching for the endless sky.
Now, walking through those streets of long-lost days,
The market's charm still finds its subtle ways,
The dinosaur, a symbol held so dear,
Of childhood dreams that still remain so clear.
For in its presence, memories unfold,
The joy, the dreams, the stories yet untold,
A time when life was boundless, unconfined,
And endless skies filled every youthful mind.
