My Memorable Trip To The Zoo Poem by Scarborough Gypsy

My Memorable Trip To The Zoo

Rating: 5.0

üMy memorable trip to the zoo
Was when I had nought else to do.
To Darwin I hitch hiked
As the buses I disliked
And I got in a car that was blue.

My memorable trip to the zoo
Smelt of lions and elephant poo.
There was hail and thunder
So I took cover under
The tail of a large kangaroo.

On my memorable trip to the zoo
My feet were left bare in the loo
For some monkeys were swinging
On a chandelier singing
And they soared through the sky with my shoe.
