My Mind Set Poem by Jerrell Frazier

if i died yesterday
how would today be
would everybody forget about me
its like my life is just full of pain misery
had a dream i was getting buried under a tree
but the weird thing i wasnt at piece
imagining her crying as she
trys to wipe the tears away as

she looks down at the key
the key that set my heart free
but imagining her cryin makes my heart get agony
realizing that if she left me my tears would drown me
as if i was in a sea
as i hear her voice asking god to bring me back
and to hear her plea
so i ask if i died yesterday
who would remember me
would it be you, she, maybe even he
but im not leaving until i leave my legacyi will pray until i get bloody knee

i want everybody to let go of problems and be free
give your problems to god and he shall help you
he whom trust in the lord shall recieve the blessings of the word.
