My Neighbor Poem by Jessica Holt

My Neighbor

Rating: 5.0

I hear when you come
I hear when you go
I hear when you wake
Even your bedtime I know

I hear your coffee pot every morning
You are a Bob Marley fan
You sing with forlorning
You can be quiet as a mouse

When you think no one is around
You blast the house out
I see the girl who comes to visit
What’s she all about?

I don’t know you
As strange as it may be
We’ve spoke maybe once
And you don’t know me

I love 'guessing' about neighbors. But, I try to stay out of their business and I like them out of mine. (except my husband...he was my neighbor and I married him!) :) Great poem Jessica. Sincerely, Mary
