My Path Poem by Cody Marks

This path will be for me to sew
Weaving a pattern I find pleasant
It is not for others to judge
It is for my eyes to behold

I alone know its stitches
The care it took to make them
I know of each thread touched
To make this pattern my own

There is much more to do yet
Such is okay with me for now
For I will complete this work
If for only one to touch it

Someday my work will be complete
Away I will go from this place
If only what I now thread
May touch another soul someday
