*~ My Pretty Flower ~* Poem by Thad Wilk

*~ My Pretty Flower ~*

My pretty flower you caught my eye,
right from the very start.
I thought our love 'twould never die,
that we would never part.
But in the end you walked away
and turned all of my blue skies gray.
But in the end.
But in the end.
My heart still yearns for you each day.

My pretty flower you caught my eye,
'twas heaven when we met.
But your love my sweet was a lie,
now you I can't forget.
You're on my mind, yes constantly.
The pain goes on relentlessly.
You're on my mind.
You're on my mind.
And in my heart you'll always be.

My pretty flower you caught my eye
and set my heart afire.
Since you've gone, all I do is cry.
You're all that I desire.
Nobody else could take your place.
Darling I miss your warm embrace.
Nobody else.
Nobody else.
My love for you time can't erase ~
