What do you think this poem is about?

my promise

i promised myself
i speak what i want to say
relentlessly

even if it should result in my own
alienation

i will be free as a fallen leaf
surrendering to the grounds of my
beginning

acknowledging that on the same spot
i shall rot
and end.
