My Question Poem by Jamyson Hoelscher

My Question

I question life. I question fate.
I question many things, however great.
I see my soul gasping for breath, but yet I never fear my death.
For while it screams out in pain, I only hide it with little shame.
Wondering aimlessly in search of light. It begins to crumble, out of sight.
As it slowly fades away, my heart follows the painful dismay.
Though as this happens to my being, I can only question what I am seeing.
I question life. I question fate.
I question many things, however great.
