My Ring Poem by David Harris

My Ring

Does my ring hurt your finger
when you go out at night?
Does my love cease to be
when I am not in sight?
Does our vows to one another
mean anything anymore,
is tonight the last time you leave
at the closing of the door.

I have tried my best to please you,
giving you everything you want.
I have showered you with love,
all I have to give.
Now my heart breaks each time
I hear the closing of the door
and see my ring in the side
when you go out at night.

What has happen to us,
where did our love go?
Does my ring hurt that much
you leave it at house
whenever outside you go?
Does it mean I am losing you
after all the good times we have had?
Does it mean our love has gone bad?
