Ms. Cheyenne DeVore (August 19th / Lincoln)
My Seaman
You're six foot two,
my eyes on you.
My heart will forever
be for you.
You promised to be careful,
you promised to be safe,
but some promises are for my sake.
I know you'll try
and I know you hope that promises made can be promises kept.
My handsome seaman, you are the best.
My handsome seaman, I will not rest
when you leave I will try my best.
Living without you will be so hard...
it might break my heart.
But I know as soon as you return,
my handsome seaman, you will get your reward well earned.
