Have you ever heard a story you know wasn't true
But, somehow it turned out to be all about you
I've heard such a story, a most beautiful lie
It brought butterflies to my stomach, & more than a tear to my eye
It didn't really make sense, but I guess neither do I
I couldn't understand how I was caught inside
Line after line, scene after scene
It exposed my fear & fulfilled all my dreams
I considered ending it; closing the book
But it was too late, I had already took to long of a look
I decided to finish it; to search out it ending
To suffer out life without its telling; for a conclusion upon which my existence is depending
Now, my days are blank pages I fill in desperation
I, the words written, it the paper; no means of separation
And I see the world as vibrant, as I feel true sorrow
My only solace, is when I turn a page, when I step into tomorrow
