My Universe Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

My Universe

My universe

Oh bricks, rocks, and dust become judge

“Look at me, look at her, do as must.”

Who is more beautiful?

No! No! No!
Do not lie, no excuse
Who is more beautiful?

Yes I know,
Yes I know,
Yes I know.

Her eyes are two oceans
Her hair is valuable, is golden
Her neck soft, long, well-cut
Her chest is love’s pillow,
And her legs,
Seeing them is honour.

My face is a desert, treeless
My nose, trunk of elephant
Eyes remind mouse’s ass.

Wondering why I ask?

I have heart, inside it universe,
This is why; look at that.
