My Valentine Poem by Satabdi Banerjee

My Valentine

It was a month or so;
When our eyes meet sometime ago,
Our lips part in sunshine beam;
Embracing fragile winters
With touch of green.

I hear the spring coming!

In gentle chirp of the sparrows,
Down my window pane.

I see the spring coming!

When air soothe my heart worn in bosom,
Nurturing your tender thoughts in me,
I feel the spring coming!

Over the red silhouette;
Like droplets on snow,
Shining radiating sparkle,
I see the season of love blossom!

With rose gardens along the bay,
And merryment in joyful sway,
When people merry over happy and gay;
I feel the season of love bloom!

Your approaching footsteps;
On such a lovely day;
When you look at me and smile,
With the most beautiful bunch of roses for me;
I know,
today is the Valentine's day!
