My Wish Poem by Pushyami Vemulapalli

I wish to redo the things I have done
I want to go after my dreams
I tripped over many people on the bent path
I don't want to return to those times
But I am just looking for the skies I have lost
I want to scream that a mistake doesn't end with tears
We have to carry the burden forever
I am in the labyrinth of emotions
With no exit on any side
And so I spelled them out here
I want to reveal my feelings more....
Anyways who should I escape —
From the thing called reality? ? ? ?
I want to stand and boldly face it
We live hoping that our wishes come true
But there is no way we can stay on the safer side always
I am thankful for kindness
I am on the way to feel nostalgic,
But I will even welcome that pain......
Because -
life is still too short for me
To erase these feelings.......
