why cant I say whats on my mind
why cant I leave all that behind
why cant I talk to you about things
that I see in all my dreams

how is it that you are sweet
and yet I have yet to meet
you away from your friends
and yet you dont pretend

your with me
how can that be
your different from all the rest
I still dont know if you'll pass the test

your not blind but your cant see
what happens when your away from me
the things I tell no one about
if I do they might shout it out

so you may never know
the things that I cannot show
but what you really mean to me
that is not the mystery
