Mystic Poem by Jan Oskar Hansen

Mystic

Mystery

The father hangs in the belfry
when mother superior hears of this
she screams once, high pitched
the bells crack deep fissures of despair.
the blind boy, led by a dumb peasant
women who think he is her son,
knows everything and he smiles.
there are shattered windows in
The priory
the old bishop knows the truth too but
he fears man and loves god,
and speaks not, and the truth
will be hidden in the boy´s heart.
