Thank you I can’t say enough
You are a friend and that’s a lot
You show the path to be smart
I am not
I will not lessens but I still love you
You are my friend special and sweet
I trust you ever when I weep
I see you in me we are the same
You are like me
Very few are
You help me even when I’m gone
You show me the path I need
Even with you knowing, I will not take
You tell me what I am not
I tell you what I am
You say I am wrong
I disagree no matter what’s at stake
You save me from me
Even in the dark
You show me the light
But even with you there
Your not the one I want
I love you, you are my friend
But you not the one
I need to tell me it’s all right
I need the girl that I desire
The one that I need
I need her the one you try to save me from
You know what I mean
You know my foolish self
I am the king of foolish and you tell me these
Day in day out
Only you can see what I look like
Only you can see my light
But you know the real me
