Nature Poem by Nick Leow

Nature

Rating: 5.0

Under the warmth of the majestic tree,
Where the stars lit up the endless night,
The ocean dance mesmerizingly in the dark,
While the wind brought in hopes and joy,
Everything shatters with the arrival of technology,

Things that are carefully made are all disappearing,
Like a jigsaw puzzle with lost pieces here and there,
Pieces that would never be found nor complete.
Looking around realizing that many things had changed,
The majestic trees are being replaced by tall buildings,
The ocean which shines so brightly seems to dull,
And the wind brought in the wisp of smoke instead of hopes.

The future resembles a dying flame,
Any moment it may extinguish,
So please save it from destruction,
Thus we can live happily just for a moment longer……
