The first twilight in my life
remained unnoticed
yet I know the darkening
done by the eclipse of your departure;
it is more than any dusk or twilight.
The first shredding of leaves
remained unnoticed,
yet I feel your somber absence
at the fall of your beat in my heart;
it is more vacant than the fall.
The first misty morning in my life
I could not recollect
when you asked me one day
in the midst of a veiling mist.
Now I'm more surrounded by
the mystery of your disappearance
from my world of company;
since then I miss you everyday.
Your pain left your body
to reign in my mind.
Your absence has grown
deep senses in my soul.
I find desolate serenity
in the midst of forlorn nature.
