Natures Call Poem by Novice Nobu

Natures Call

and the winds blew again
and the birds sang again
and the leaves rolled again
and the trees swayed again
and the kids laughed again
and the olds thanked again
For the gods cried once again
Drenching everyone
Washing away all that sorrow
And the pains
Blessing one and all
for once again
Aromatic earth promising food again
Gigantic trees promising shade again
Mighty rivers promising to end thirst again
Colorful flowers promising beauty again
And the generous nature reminding us
Again And again
That it won't last
Not for long
For the devils will rise again
Earth will burn again
No songs in air will be heard again
No wings will flutter again
No laughter will blend the air again
No dreams will born again
The generous nature telling us
Again And again
Don't you worry
For gods will cry again
But in return I ask for one favor
Again And again
Promise me you won't ravage me again
Promise me you will let me breathe again
Promise me you will not kill me again
Promise me
Promise me.....
