Nature's Child Poem by Praveen Kumar In Shobha Priya

Nature's Child

What in depth truly is your nature,
While in leisure, I always wonder;
Like a fish I catch that is in water,
You slip from grasp and disappear.

You are truly gentle, often I thought,
Like fullmoon all through the night;
Yet I find you shine blindingly bright
While you fight all out close to heart.

Simplicity is what you deck with,
Bright in white with natural flow;
Yet in colours I find deep neath,
You sparkle bright in divine glow.

Never to sulk from what self holds,
You stick to self like lizard to wall;
And sink yourself to destitute's folds
To uphold what you hold truly tall.

You're self's Everest, yet selfless,
Simple like day night, subtle yet;
Harmony is honey, pure sweetness,
You flow incessant, yet fiercely right.

This or that, what truly you are,
Who can judge, but for Nature?
Transcend senses, you stand tall,
You are your judge, own master.

Queen, you reign over right world,
Goddess, you address right or wrong;
Far or you near, I seek you to guide
To build our long road together ahead.
