Net Of Death Poem by Zillur Rahman Shuvro

Net Of Death

In the silent darkness of grave a cast off snake was seeking
The sin of an ethereal body bearing the feeling of born blind
When the dictionary of religion was meaningless like torn leaf
It peeked up through the hole of grave…
But it caught in the eyes of born enemy mongoose.
Chasing by mongoose the panicky snake was in the gesture of dance
Suddenly the wild hunter's string of the bow was vibrated!
The wild hunter wore the dress of deer's leather
It was the last day of spring…
The fate of wild hunter and mongoose within the same formulas
The wild hunter was also killed by the blue venom of that snake.
There was a snake-eater hawk in the sky
It was getting pungency of snake in the indifferent air
At once the snake flew in the sky like a kite- tail
Alas Horizon! The net of death is everywhere.
