I never wished to say good bye
But you came around and held me tight
I felt your warmth and i kind of smiled
I never thought you were saying good bye
You just stared at me, never uttered a word
You smiled and walked away, leaving me in pain
But as i ponder, i wonder
What could ever make you stare at my face and lie

I treated you so well
Every secret of mine It was you i'd tell
I trusted you with my heart
And now you leave me broken hearted
I feel like a pebble
I thought i used to be your pearl

Time will dry my tears
The rains will wash away my sorrow
The stars will listen to my stories and jokes
I would be strong, i would try to cope
I would chill out with my peers
And i would smile again, someday; tomorrow
