Never A Scatterbrain Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Never A Scatterbrain

Beneath the superior gaze of rivals
She models chiffon and lace
Voices call out 'scatterbrain'
And her abstract ideas evaporate.

Why should her confidence wane?
She has a beautiful face...
And never was she a scatterbrain
But always ahead in the race.
