Never Be Forgotten

Heavy eye lids
panting as we continue
as time passes slowly before
we come....
Sweat and tears
on our faces as our strength
is drained....
Our bodies ache
with exhaustion and pain
promising not to tell our
loved ones....
Tonight we will sleep
and never wake
as the sin we committed
will never be forgotten....
