WHO WORK TIRELESSLY TO CARE FOR THE INFIRM....
(Tribute to Carers, Nurses and Medical Staff)
careful hands
feathers of laughter, floating steps, soothing
attentive echoes in a humdrum of orders, distant
wisps of courage, defining, directing...healing
whispering comfort in a painful world of discomfort
rays of light, beaming, willing....never ending
chosen words
fluffs of inspiration, inviting and forging, knowingly
splashing chunks of love, un-noticed love
sanitising, informing and watchfully alert....constantly
always there, like a flash flood, in my finest hour
administering...forgiving...never ending
practiced minds
little doze of science and humanity, patiently
restoring joy to many families, un-explained
many more grateful for years to come, silently
some of patients whom you may never again meet
see your face, your strength for a time... but it's never ending
THANK YOU....NEVER ENDING.

Lovely poem, words carefully chosen. You are so right, restoring joy is what they do. Keep writing Sylvi. Bob
