Hurt is never a thing to be taken lightly,
I know that you've been there more times than you'd like to admit.
I know your afraid as I've had my share of causing a bit of that same hurt.
Memories are not easily forgotten as words alone cannot remedy such scars.
Giving yourself away isn't easy as it sounds.
It takes time, just as everything else in life.
But if there is one thing, I know this.
No matter how much time it takes.
Whether you still love me, or you hate me.
I'll never leave your side.
Through all of the ache, through all of the pain.
