Nevermore Poem by Richard Phipps

Nevermore

If nevermore we laughed again,
then nevermore I'd sing.

If nevermore we grew so close,
then nevermore I'd cling.

If nevermore we questioned hate,
then nevermore I'd win.

If nevermore we questioned love,
then nevermore I'd lose.

If nevermore I had your love,
then nevermore I'd choose.

If nevermore we tempted fate,
then nevermore I'd see.

If nevermore we met again,
then nevermore I'd be.
