Nevermore Poem by Yohan Confectioner

Nevermore

In green meadows, lovers sit side by side,
In soft whispers, to one another, they confide,
Pain, sorrow and loss they have defied.
Yet,
My love could not decide, with or without me,
My love could not decide.

Long hours lovers spend,
With joy and passion they befriend,
Time and love to them has no end.
But,
Our time has come and gone my love,
Our love is lost and forlorn.

The silvery sea kisses the sand,
Lovers, in silence, walk hand in hand,
‘Neath heavens harmonious band.
Between you and me I see no love,
Between you and me I see no love.

My love is like the lonely lost Lenore,
She too is nevermore,
As our love has tumbled ashore.
The Raven has placed itself upon my chamber door.
Our shadow lies on the floor, to be lifted - nevermore.
