New York Poem by Sebastian Seal

New York



I bought my ticket to New York,
I bought it in quite a rush.
It was far too far to walk,
And so I caught a bus.

I wish I'd done my home-work,
Before starting on my way,
For no-one said that New York
Was a town near Whitley Bay.
