Nicole Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Nicole

Nicole

She made it to Russia
-too eager, filled with love
-to help the needy and…
-hold hand of displaced…

Joined meetings here, there
-people came
-gave speech, speakers
-the needy stretched
-hand to get
-regardless of colour

She wanted to give all
-whatever was of love
-chose Black African
-though is white as is chalk
-with little excess fat

They had shots and she paid
-he didn't have account
-refugee in Russia

She gave him her body
-from him she received deposit
-preserved, turned to child
-on return she worked on
-getting him over too…

Now, here, all three
-using one single roof
-he is he, African
-tired she, in times shouts
-but since left mom and dad…
-and some of her friends

Claiming: "She went wrong! "
-they left her all alone
-she holds tight to her guy
-as stands to wind rock
-but suffers, pains her heart
-since he is too slow; far behind…
