Night Train Poem by Leonard Lee

Night Train

People people everywhere..
different faces here and there..

There is a couple in front of me...
they are having an affair you see...
one is married, the other is not...
from their hands i came up with this thought....

three girls on my right..
talking about a couple's fight...
colourful language for all to hear...
'its the guy's fault! ' they all cheer...

a lonesome guy on the bench...
his fits all clench...
i wonder what is he thinking...
surely something he feel like striking....

a mother an child on the left of me....
both asleep and taking their zzzs...
i think they are happily dreaming...
because both are quietly smiling...

i just can't wait for my stop...
then its home i'll hop...
