Nirvana .(Salvation) ..... Poem by RAVIKIRAN ARAKKAL

He sat down and chanted
Mantras so sectet that
Few knew about them,
And did fasts and penances
To ascend to heaven
Keeping his celebacy
In strict discipline, that none
could macth except a eunuch.

Years went by, and one day
He breathed his last,
Young as he was, and
Everyone believed
He ascended to heavens
And attained the immortal
Bliss and salavtion
Through Nirvana which
But a few saintscan obttain.

Whether he attained salvation,
Was never proved,
But did he abtain from
Worly pleasures all enjoy.
